At Kennel Solreven live Therese and Lars, with our rough collies, Ronja, Linka, Marissa, Tyson, Cæsar and the German Sheppard Toya.

Kennel Solreven got the kennel name approved 18 of January 2007, and a dream came true.

It was I Therese, which took the madness for dogs, breeding, show etc into the family.

And also which had the dream of a small breeding in our home.  I have planes to take several courses about dogs, breeding, etc.

I have read several books about breeding, obedience and such tings before I started to breed.  I have managed to get Lars interested as well. And that are very good!

We attend dog shows often, to have fun, have it social with other “dog-people”. The fact that our collies manage to do great in the ring, are just a BIG bonus.

Ruby was my first collie; in 2006 she came into our lives. Sadly she has HD, and lives in Oslo with Gro.

We are a hobby breeder with about 2 litters a year. Our puppies are born in the bedroom, lives there the 2 first weeks of their life, before they moves to the living room.  I will try to breed a true typical collie, from the English standard. Which in my opinion are a lovely head and expression.  At kennel Solreven are all the dogs’ members of the family, which means that they lives inside with us, and I like to call them my “children”.

The kennels first litter saw daylight the 9th of January 2008.  The puppies from this kennel will be born and raised inside, I mean it is unbelievably important for a puppy to understand from early days that they truly means something to someone! They will grow up like family members of this family, hear noises, get to know all the dogs living her, people coming and going from they are 2 weeks. Drive car, boat, and one by one socialization before leaving to a new home.  We deliver all our puppies with this:

Veterinarians attest
Eye checked

Micro chipped

Registered in the Norwegian Kennel Club.

They also get a small puppy packet. Which have some food, and a toy with the smell of mother on it.  We follow the Norwegian Collieklubb guidelines for breeding.

At Kennel Solreven all are welcome to have a nice collie chat, if it is to buy a puppy or only to get information about collie.
